I think Israel should have people such as you and others that are on the ground in Israel (many of whom I follow on Substack) working on immediately setting the record straight and bringing the receipts (as the current press secretary for Trump always says).
But this means hiring and paying people to focus solely on this and that requires money. But it would go a long way to helping people not be swayed by mainstream media.
Add to that launching an international television network, funding key players in international media, putting active work into manipulating social media algorithms, endowing professorships, influencing high school curricula, backing political candidates and then keeping all of that up for the next three decades - that’s what Israel‘s enemies are doing.
Can Israel really expect equivalent results with an investment that’s anything less?
I don’t think so.
But you’re right, a good start would be to recruit the most talented minds and fund them to do this kind of work full-time.
